International Open Access Week 2019: „Open Principles“, „ IOP Publishing“
This week we are celebrating Open Access Week 2019. Open Access (OA) has the potential to maximize research investments, increase the exposure and use of published research, facilitate the ability to conduct research across available literature, and enhance the overall advancement of scholarship. Research funding agencies, academic institutions, researchers and scientists, teachers, students, and members of the general public are supporting a move towards Open Access in increasing numbers every year. Open Access Week is a key opportunity for all members of the community to take action to keep this momentum moving forward.
If you want to learn more about the opportunities and benefits of Open Science in research, you are welcome to take the Open Principles training module. This module will introduce the guiding principles of the „open movement“. You will be able to describe the ethical, legal, social, economic, and research impact arguments for and against Open Science. You will find useful online platforms and how to use them.
Also we would like to share with you some information about how IOP Publishing is supporting Open Access publications, webinars and much more.
