About laboratory
Student “flights“ on a simulator is one of the most im[portant methods of studies, in order to improve piloting technique under various weather conditions, instrument approach, also learning navigation work and planning actions in emergency situations.

A simulator is a complex technical system, which allows imitationg airplane fligth while on-ground. The simulator cockpit is a real copy of an airplane cockpit with operating eqiuipment and airplane systems. It is the main study place for the students.

The simulator has a number of advantages in comparison with real airplane flights. Firstly, fligth safety. At the very begining the student can fly individually with the simualtor adn learn from his/her mistakes. Having made an error, the student can himself fix it. Therefore, there is no fear that the fligth will end in a “catastrophe“”.

Secondly an instructor can test students‘ abilities under any complex weather conditions. Which is impossible flying a real plane. Therefore, this practice for students-pilots is very useful.
Furthermore, a flight on the simulator is a few times cheaper than on the real plane.

Currently the flight training alboratory, a simulator purchase in Canada imitating four aircraft types. Single-engine Cessna – 172, twin-engine Piper Seneca V, turbopropeller Beechcraft King Air B 200 and a jet airliner Boeing – 737.
