For the last nineteen years the Faculty of Civil Engineering at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University has organised nine successful international scientific conferences to discuss up-to-date problems of building and civil engineering. The Conference is aimed at discussing of both industrial and academic research which has recently been carried out on analysis and design of structures, constructions and they elements, manufacturing of building materials and constructions, design, construction and maintenance of structures, building technology and management, ect. The 9th International Conference on Modern Building Materials, Structures and Techniques, held in Vilnius, 2007, was attended by scientists from more than 20 countries. The selected papers of the last two conferences were published and included in the international ISI proceedings database.

We intend to organise the 10th International Conference in Vilnius, 19–21 May, 2010. The Conference will provide an opportunity for scientists, engineers, managers and professionals from around the world to sum up the achievements and to highlight the problems. Such a Conference would be an excellent opportunity to meet colleagues, to exchange knowledge and experience, and to extend your list of contacts.
