The Lithuanian Language Course (LLC) offers international students the opportunity to study one of the oldest languages in the world. Both Lithuanian and Latvian are derived from the Baltic branch of the Indo-European family of languages.
Students can take basic LLC which will help with daily life in Lithuania. Students who plan to attend LLC at VGTU must mark the corresponding field on the general VGTU Application Form. The courses are free of charge and will be organized at a convenient time. Successful completion of the course is worth 3 ECTS credits.
Alternatively, students can attend the Erasmus Intensive Lithuanian Language Course organized before autumn term and spring term. The courses will provide basic language skills as well as an overview of the social, cultural, political and economic situation of Lithuania.
